Owen Farmer is one of our newest Directors and comes with a wealth of passion. Owen has been a tireless Homeless advocate in Rockingham for the last 10 years, working extensively with stakeholders, the Homeless community and the Department of Housing to support Homeless individuals and families into permanent and secure housing. An eternal early bird, he is pounding the streets at 3am to ensure all the homeless in Rockingham and surrounds are secure and safe. He has a solid reputation amongst the homeless but also with local Politicians, Council officials and statkeholders.
Owen stood back from his work with the Homeless to join the board of Inspire Radio and is using his local knowledge to promote Inspire. Owen was the winner of the Citizen of the Year for the City of Rockingham (Seniors) in 2019 and has been nominated again for 2020.
