I have always been interested in Health and Mental well-being, and initially graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)
A husband and 4 children saw me working in hospitality as a cook and manager of restaurants for over 33 years, thereby understanding the importance of nutrition and getting the best out of food.
Illnesses present throughout the extended family led me to further understand the significance of diet and lifestyle on health. As a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) graduate, I completed an intense 4 years of training in herbal medicine, nutrition, diet and lifestyle factors. I continue to extend my knowledge and keep up to date with the latest research, especially in the area of Mental Health, through further ongoing studies
I am a founding member of the Rockingham Alliance Against Depression committee and a member of Baldivis Rotary where I chair the Mental Health and Wellbeing Committee.
